Learning New Skills
Mac, the Alpine guide, had to learn a range of new skills and techniques to guide Miles and Jon on the Mont Blanc ascent. Later that afternoon both Miles and Jon helped each other out of unseen crevasses.

A view of Mont Blanc

Mont Blanc
On a good summer's day a short ride on a ski lift from Chamonix delivers you into a wonderland of snow, granite and blue skies. But, like any mountaineer, Miles has to be fully capable of looking after himself and fellow climbers if the conditions suddenly change.
